The Linn Benton Chapter was established in 1995. Since that time our chapter, along with state and national Greens have run numerous campaigns and candidates, won elections, as well as sponsored initiatives, such as Rank Choice Voting. In addition, we have made continuing efforts to educate the public in matters of local and regional concern.

Over the years Linn Benton Greens have elected candidates to city council, district court and various community offices. The November 2024 election featured Greens Mike Beilstein for Oregon State Representative; James Dashiell for Benton County Commissioner.

We continue to encourage and support local Greens to run for elected positions.
